It is with very heavy hearts that we share this message.

With summer planning underway for many families, we felt it was important to communicate this update now and with transparency. After careful consideration, the three owners of Somos Spanish Immersion Summer Camp made the difficult decision to go our separate ways. Somos has ceased program operations and is in the process of winding down. As a result, Somos will not be offering summer camp or other programming.

Separately, Keisha Usher-Martin has developed a Spanish Immersion Camp model in Philadelphia, ¡Viva Verano!. ¡Viva Verano! is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Somos. This camp is a complete and separate legal entity from Somos.

We are deeply saddened and disappointed that we were unable to continue the camp, as Somos was truly a labor of love and a passion project for us. Over the past two summers, Somos was built with intention, joy, and a deep commitment to language, culture, and community.

We are incredibly grateful to the families who trusted us with their children and became part of the Somos family. Getting to know your children and sharing in their growth and experiences was an absolute privilege, and the relationships and memories we created will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Thank you to everyone who supported Somos Spanish Immersion Summer Camp and helped make it such a meaningful experience.
